This is Kohana, the daughter of Sakurako. She is one of the few foals I have. I designed her after her father, Yukio. I was never one to design back horses becuase they are so common, but I tried to give her a different flare to her, especially with the bow and bell.

Open Facts: Kohana is very devoted to her mother, and only wishes to make her proud. She is very obedient and like her mother, rarely acts out or shows disrespect for the adults in the herd.
-When she moves about, the gold bell attached to her tail will chime and jingle softly. She likes to trot around just to hear its rattle.
-She is very shy and can come off being standoffish at first, but will open up once she is certain that you are not a threat to her.
-She doesn’t like to be very far away from her mother or she will get upset and withdrawn. She is very attached to her mother and doesn’t let he out of her site.
-Her name means “little flower” in Japanese, which is why Sakurako named her that, she always looked at her as her little gift.

Private facts: Kohana doesn’t like to play very much, so when Emiko, one of the other foals in the Two Side herd tries to play with her, she becomes very unfriendly and distant acting. She will often snort and pin her ears back to show her displeasure with Emiko’s playful gestures. In actuality, Kohana just doesn’t know how to be a foal, she was stripped of the desire to play and act her age after her father passed away.
-She misses her father a great deal, and knows that when her mother looks at her she can see her father through her eyes and coat. She wishes she would have been born a different color so her mother wouldn’t feel so badly every time she looks to her with those wistful eyes.

Character Info: Quiet in nature, she is a lot like her mother. Always seeming to act mature even in times when she should naturally be acting like a foal.
-She is very considerate over her mother’s feelings and seems to only concern herself with the well-being of her.
-Kohana is rarely seen not standing closely to her mother, but it is even rarer to actually find her playing or interacting with other foals of her age.
