This is Masatane, back when I first started doing designs for my series many years ago it came down to this guy and another horse who was an Arabian, I gladly threw my Arab into the mix seeing as I didn't have any in the series, but with time I thought more about this guy and decided to replace my old Arabian with him instead.

Open Facts: Masatane is a very optimistic horse that is always trying to see the good in a situation. Though prone to trouble, he always keeps a cheery personality when faced with a bad situation.
-He tries to be a peacemaker, but unfortunately will just makes a matter worse than before. He’s not such a smooth talker, either, which doesn’t help at all. He tries his best, however.
-His movement are very choppy and unsound looking. He seems like he wouldn’t move very lightly or quietly if he had to. He more so “jogs” when he trots, and he stomps his feet down heavily as he walks.

Private facts: Masatane, before coming to Los Lobos, once lived on a large private island with humans on the Northern shore of Hawaii where vacationers would come from all around the world to see its beauty. Only the filthy rich or contest winners were able to come to the island. So not too many tourist often stopped by. Masa lived along with many other horses that were used for recreational horseback riding along the beach’s shoreline. He was used quite often for guided trail rides and whatnot. Most of the time the wealthy parents would give money to their unruly teenagers and let them ride the horses all evening long. They of course mistreated all the horses on purpose just to impress their dates and friends. They would kick extra hard and pull on the reins forcefully and would slap at the necks and withers of the horses just to get their attention at times. It might have seemed rather cruel to some, but to Masa and his herd mates it was called survival. In their minds without being worked so hard, they wouldn’t have a place to stay nor any food to fill their belly. So it came with good and bad points for him and his friends. But after so long of back breaking labor in the dead sun every single day with little to no water, he found himself unconscious from heat exhaustion one afternoon. The next morning when he awoke, he was in Los Lobos.
-Masatane acts tough, but when faced with an opponent that is larger than himself, he will gladly back down and cower in fear. He tends to be submissive most of the times. But courage is something he does not lack.

Character Info: Overall, Masatane is submissive, eager to work if that means keeping his ranks high, a very optimistic guy who doesn’t give up until he physically cannot do anymore, and a very instinctive horse.
-He is however on the clumsy side and will always make his presence known when he is near, as his steps sound very loud and hollow when his hooves make contact with the ground.
-When he laughs it sounds like he has a very rasped throat and needs to possibly cough.
-A bit timid and head-shy, and sometimes backward, he can be very difficult for some people to read. He comes off being rather moody or emotional, but he is actually just a little shy.
